Austin Felber is an attorney at Wisconsin First Responder Lawyers, a division of MacGillis Law Group, LLC, where he focuses on protecting the legal rights of firefighters, police officers, and other first responders throughout the State of Wisconsin.
A graduate of Marquette University Law School, Austin was honored with the prestigious Thomas Moore Scholarship. During law school, he clerked for the first responder team at MacGillis Wiemer, LLC, and was actively involved in the University’s Labor Law Society. After graduation, he joined the firm, dedicating his practice to advocating for those who serve and protect our communities—first responders.
Austin’s passion for representing first responders was shaped by his father, who was permanently injured in the line of duty while serving as a deputy sheriff. Inspired by his father’s dedication to public service, Austin made it his mission to protect the interests of those who sacrifice for others.
Before law school, Austin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Political Science. While at UW-Madison, he earned a spot on the Dean’s List, co-founded the Political Science Student Association, and served on the Exploratory Advisory Board for the NPR podcast "Things That Go Boom." Austin also spent his senior year in Washington D.C. as part of the Wisconsin in Washington D.C. program, where he interned for a bipartisan public affairs and strategic communications firm.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Austin enjoys traveling and supporting local sports teams, particularly the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.
